Projects 2005 - 2011
In 2005 – 2011, our workers aimed particularly to create a strength calculation department at Arako s.r.o., a manufacturer producing industrial valves. Modern computational methods were implemented - in particular the finite element method and flow simulation with the help of the finite volume method. Further, a complex renewal of unsatisfactory and obsolete strength calculations for nuclear engineering valve assortment was accomplished, above all of A10 high-pressure valves, A10 low-pressure valves, A30 check valves and A13 quick-acting valves.
Among significant projects in years 2005 – 2006, there were processing of the proof documentation – check analyses and design calculations – for Kudankulam nuclear plant, South India, VVER-1000 type reactor according to the Russian standard for calculations (PNAE G -7 – 002-86 and OTT-87). For these purposes a brand new product line of A20 type nuclear energy valves with seismic modification – also known under the term “valves without yokes” - was developed.
In 2007, development of a new product line of V46 high-pressure stop valve “with so-called bayonet yoke cover” - DN10 to DN50 PN63-500 for power engineering and processing of check analyses for quick-acting valves for Paks NPP, Hungary, according to OTT-87.
In 2008, development and shape optimization of the pressure seal cover of DN400 blow-off equipment for Siemens AG, processing of the proof documentation (check analyses) for the Rostov NPP, the Novovoronezh NPP, the Kolsk NPP, the Kalininsk NPP and the Smolensk NPP, Russia, according to general technical requirements OTT-87 and NP-068-05.
In 2009 – 2011, processing of the proof documentation – design calculations and check analyses for delivered valves for finishing of building of 3rd and 4th block in the Mochovce nuclear plant, Slovakia, with VVER-440 type reactor, a practically complete assortment of Arako s.r.o. according to NTD A.S.I. Section III and OTT-87.
In 2012, processing of the proof documentation – check analyses - for nuclear energy valves assortment of MSA a.s. company for finishing of building of 3rd and 4th block in the Mochovce nuclear plant, Slovakia, with VVER-440 type reactor. Especially A01 quick-acting valves, A41, A42 backflow check valves, A09 control gate valves and A10 regulation valves.
